Another Foot

I’ll admit. Sometimes I take for granted all the work Ray puts in to keep the road open and the yard cleared during winter. From snow-plowing our very long road with the plow truck, to snow blowing the yard and deck, it is quite time-consuming (and bone-chilling) to move all that snow around. Equally important, he keeps both the rust-bucket plow truck and frozen snow-blower running well enough to accomplish the task.

In our fourth year here, we’ve learned that the weather just keeps on coming during winter. Every time we pull up to the cabin, it seems we’ve gotten at least another foot of snow. I simply get to “ooh and aah” over how beautiful it is. And Ray sets off to work.

For the record my dear husband, I notice. And I am so grateful!!

Now back to my oohing and aahing….
