New Apple Trees

Our weekend project. We planted 6 new bare-root apple trees: Zestar, Kinder Crisp, Haralred, Honey Crisp and 2 Sweet Sixteen.

And because we aren’t interested in sharing with the deer quite yet, we built fences around each tree too. We laughed that the name of the trail closest to our mini-orchard is “Deer Trail.” I guess time will tell....
