The Best Gift

It’s our 3rd year celebrating Christmas at the cabin and each year, I’ve negotiated an afternoon walk with Ray and the kids. There is a section of trails that we can only get to this time of year, once the bog has frozen but the snow hasn’t gotten too deep. Gratefully, after yesterday’s frigid temps, today was sunny and 20 degrees. With a foot of fresh snow, it could not have been more beautiful. By far, it was the best gift of the day!!
